Call for the 2026-2028 OSUM Executive Committee Election

The Call for Nominations for the 2026 Ontario Small Urban Municipalities (OSUM) Executive Committee election is now open.

Those interested in running for the 2026-2028 OSUM Executive Committee term are required to fill out the attached nomination form and return by 4:00 p.m. on April 10, 2026. Forms must be returned to Larry J. McCabe, Administrative Officer, OSUM, larryjmccabe@gmail.com. 

The election will take place during the April 29–May 1 OSUM Conference and Trade Show, hosted by the Town of Parry Sound and held at the Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts/Bobby Orr Hall of Fame.

Voting is scheduled for Thursday, April 30, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

To be eligible to run and vote, your municipality must be in good standing as an Association of Municipalities of Ontario member.

OSUM is the small urban voice of the province. It is an integral part of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) and includes a number of Board members who serve on the AMO Board of Directors. OSUM provides an important forum for elected and appointed municipal officials to share information and examine pressing and emerging issues facing small urban communities. OSUM is the vehicle by which matters of common interest can be addressed through collective action to improve local government service across Ontario.
